SSC CGL Tier 1 (2025 Pattern) — Sectional Practice Sample
A short sample paper demonstrating the new sectional (SSC/Banking-style) test interface, built on the real SSC CGL Tier 1 2025 pattern: four subjects — General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension — each scored +2 for a correct answer and -0.5 for a wrong one. The full official Tier 1 paper has 25 questions per subject (100 total, 200 marks) in a single 60-minute composite window; this sample has 8 questions per subject so the sectional interface can be tried out quickly, with each section run as its own 15-minute timed block (Submit Section to move on, no going back once a section ends).

Frequently Asked Questions
Is MockTestDeck really free?
Yes. Every mock test on MockTestDeck is completely free, with no account, subscription, or payment required, ever.
Do I need to sign up to attempt a mock test?
No. All mock tests run entirely in your browser — no login, no signup, and no data is sent to a server.
Are the mock tests based on the real exam pattern?
Yes. Every mock test uses the same CBT interface as the real exam portals — a question palette, Save & Next, Mark for Review, a countdown timer, and instant scoring with a full answer review.
What's the difference between the two test interfaces?
Exams like JEE use a freely navigable interface with one overall timer and a color-coded question palette. Exams like SSC use a sectional interface with a separate countdown per section, and sections must be attempted in order — matching each exam's real CBT experience.
Does the mock test go full screen?
Yes. As soon as you click Proceed to start a test, it automatically switches to full screen to reduce distractions, just like the real exam. You can exit any time using the full-screen toggle in the toolbar.
Is my mock test data saved or sent anywhere?
No. Mock tests are entirely client-side — your answers, timer, and score are calculated in your browser and never leave your device or get stored on our servers.
Which exams does MockTestDeck cover?
MockTestDeck currently has full-length papers for JEE Main and SSC CGL, with more exams and papers being added regularly.
Can I use MockTestDeck on my phone?
Yes. The entire site, including the mock test interface, is fully responsive and works smoothly on mobile browsers. You can also install it as an app (PWA) from your browser's "Add to Home Screen" option.
Does the website work in dark mode?
Yes. Use the sun/moon toggle in the navbar to switch between light and dark mode. Your preference is remembered automatically for future visits.
